At Winnovate, we believe innovation is a state of mind. Many organizations already use tools and methods to come up with new and innovative products and services. Truly innovative companies go beyond these tools and processes and focus on building an ongoing innovation culture and mindset. How can companies, governments, startups and institutions in the middle east create such an innovation culture? The Winnovate team was excited to provide answers to this and more questions at its recent innovation meetup. The meetup happened on November 27th in an unusual location: in Warehouse Four located in Al Quoz - Dubai’s art and culture hub. Why, because winnovate believes that radical collaboration and out-of-the-box thinking happens naturally in a setting that is basic, simple and challenges our assumptions of a typical workplace.
More than 40 innovation ninjas from the region, from several backgrounds and across ages joined us at the innovation meetup. The Winnovate coaches gave a sneak peek into design thinking with a hands-on workshop and walked the community through several case studies of innovation champions and failures. In an open setting, participating innovators were invited to join the discussion in order to create a platform for knowledge exchange and best practice sharing. If you missed it this time, take a look at the event video and watch out for the next event!
Winnovate also announced its upcoming innovation offerings for the public during the event. Just have a look on our page and book yourself a seat in 2018 or get in touch via firstname.lastname@example.org to embark on your innovation journey!
